Nike Unveils All Conditions Express Train for ACG Relaunch (2026)

Nike's Bold Move: Reviving ACG with an Entirely Orange, Branded Train!

Get ready for an adventure because sportswear giant Nike has just unveiled something truly spectacular to celebrate the grand reintroduction of its All Conditions Gear (ACG) line. They've transformed an Italian commuter train into an all-orange, heavily branded express! This isn't just any train; it's a rolling testament to the spirit of ACG, designed to whisk people from the heart of Milan all the way to the majestic Italian Alps. Imagine your commute, but infused with the thrill of the outdoors and a serious dose of style!

Nike's chief design officer, Martin Lotti, shared the vision behind this unique initiative. He explained, "With the outdoors in particular, it's so serious, everything is like top-of-mountain, so we purposely wanted to come in with an attitude that solves problems at the highest level, but has even more attitude." He elaborated, aiming to capture "the fun, the playful, but the reverentness of the outdoors, and then this obviously being more innovation driven, and I think it's really the balance of all of them."

But here's where it gets truly immersive... The All Conditions Express is a masterpiece crafted by Nike's in-house design team. Every inch of it is awash in ACG's signature vibrant orange and adorned with its iconic triangular logo. Step inside, and you're enveloped in a world of orange. From the phones and Jenga sets to megaphones and coffee pots, nearly every item is branded, creating an unforgettable visual experience. It's like stepping into the ACG universe itself!

The train has been ingeniously reimagined as a base station for athletes, with each carriage serving a distinct purpose for an outdoor expedition. Several passenger cars have been outfitted with custom seating, featuring a rich burnt-orange upholstery and headrests proudly displaying the ACG logo.

Near the front, a social hub awaits, inspired by "classic alpine refuges." This area boasts a stylish metal booth serving coffee and a souvenir shop stocked with all sorts of ACG goodies – think t-shirts, postcards, patches, stickers, bags, and snacks.

And for those moments of relaxation after a day of adventure? The rear of the train offers a dedicated recovery space. Here, you'll find a variety of seating, including a spacious multi-person daybed, hanging chairs, and plush upholstered swivel chairs, complete with sightseeing binoculars. These seats are artfully arranged around a log-burning stove, with storage units brimming with ACG-branded essentials.

Even the practical spaces are a marvel. One carriage is dedicated to equipment storage, and get this – it even features a miniature, model railway version of the All Conditions Express itself! It’s a playful nod to the scale and detail of the project.

And this is the part most people miss... While the ACG branding is absolutely dominant, with the triangular logo appearing hundreds of times, you'll notice a striking absence: no Nike Swooshes are visible anywhere on the train. Lotti explained this deliberate choice: "This is for the outdoors, and it has a distinct look and feel and can have its own attitude and dimensions as well." He emphasized the purity of the ACG logo, established in 1988, and its deep connection to solving problems for outdoor enthusiasts, signifying a "different vibe and attitude towards solving problems."

What do you think about Nike's decision to give ACG such a distinct and separate identity, even down to removing the iconic Swoosh? Does this bold branding strategy make you more excited about the relaunched ACG line? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
