Dietary Insights and Isotope Analysis

To understand Australopithecus deyiremeda's diet, scientists analyzed isotopes from eight teeth found at the Burtele site. Surprisingly, while Lucy's species had a varied diet, Australopithecus deyiremeda favored C3 resources, similar to older hominins.
